AIDS QUILT FOR CELEBRATION OF WORLD AIDS DAY

This project was near and dear to my heart. I wanted to do a bargello quilt but in the shape of an AIDS ribbon. With the help of my EQ5 program I designed, pieced the top and quilted it on my long arm. there is really not much fancy quilting, just around the borders, as we were letting patients write in the names of their loved ones who had been lost to the AIDS epidemic. When our medical director left the clinic, this was one of his takes on his way out.
